Hua Hua Zhang visited Parley Coburn School for a week-long residency the week of March 16th. During the week, third grade students studied the art of making shadow masks and Chinese dragons. Each day Hua Hua taught them a word of Chinese, including " Hello" "Thank you" "You are welcome" "Good bye" and "Dragon." Students also completed four projects: 1. Draw a Chinese Dragon. 2 chinese Calligraphy. 3 Shadow puppet. 4 chinese dragon dance.
